Fate
The curriculum of our life
If you seriously consider past events in your life, you often realize that they did not happen by chance, but were related to yourself. But who determined the occurrence of these events, who writes the curriculum of our lives?
Inevitable circumstances in our lives are referred to as fate. Many religious people see unpleasant events as God’s punishment and pleasant ones as God’s gift. But this is still a widespread view of the last centuries.
Fate is not arbitrarily brought about by some higher being, but follows the eternal natural laws of God. When we realize them, we can use them to influence our fate.
Popular wisdom describes this possibility with the saying:
“Each man is the architect of his own fortune”
To start my reflections, there is one more prerequisite I need to clarify:
“Hence it is a great mistake to believe that at birth an absolutely new life begins, that a child is thus >Innocent<, and that all happenings can be accounted for in only the short life on earth. If this were true, then the existing Justice would naturally require the combined causes, effects and reactions to occur during the span of one earth-life.
Turn away from this error. You will then soon discover in everything that happens the logic and justice which are now so often missed!”

Lecture: Fate
We can recognize logic with the emergence of fate, if we assume repeated lives on earth. My video deals with this, among other things: The human being, spirit-soul-body.
To illustrate the origin of fate, let´s use the example of a human soul who is about to live a new life on earth.
Through its past life, in this case, it has already developed towards musicality and care, but it is domineering.
The first important part of its so-called fate is represented by the parental home into which the soul is born. In Europe alone, a soul connects with the growing child’s body in more than 13,000 pregnant women every day. Which parents a soul reaches, is thereby no blind coincidence, because it takes place according to logical principles and regularities.
As often in chemistry, a connection takes place due to forces of attraction, in the case of the parent-child connection correspondingly on a spiritual level. This attraction of the same kind describes the vernacular very aptly with the words:
Birds of a feather flock together.
The soul from our example is attracted to parents in which the father is musical and selfish and the mother is caring and domineering.
If friends of the parents look at the child later, they often say that the child inherited its musical talent from the father, and its caring and domineering nature from the mother.
But a comprehensive consideration indicates that the soul had already developed these abilities or talents in previous lives. What is superficially called heredity is nothing more than prenatal attraction between the parents and the already developed soul of the child. In addition to the aforementioned attraction through characteristics, there are other important reasons that bring about a parent-child relationship, but I will not discuss them in this video.
However, we not only ask why this soul came to these parents, but also what meaning it may have.
The child’s soul is musically nurtured by the father at an early age, and he takes pleasure in accompanying the child’s musical development. The caring mother will experience the child’s welfare in the same way. Consequently, the similarities are a benefit for both parts.
Now let’s continue to look at the characteristic of dominance that needs improvement.
Fate provides mother and child with the opportunity for self-knowledge through experience of the same kind. Since man has the free will of the decision, mother and child will be able to give up their dominance only through insight. The child gets the opportunity to do so, because it suffers from the mother’s dominance. As an adult, these childhood experiences can then cause them to abandon their domineering nature. The mother, in turn, can see the early signs of dominance in her beloved child. It is as if mother and child are mirroring each other.
So much for the law of attraction of the same kind within a family.
With the formation of fate or also called karma, the principle of cause and effect is of particular importance.
With the words:
“What man sows, that shall he also reap.”
Jesus expanded the understanding of this natural process in agriculture to the conclusive interpretation of destiny more than 2,000 years ago. In my opinion, this directional instruction for the everyday actions of people has not yet been fully recognized to this day. You will find more details in my video “Suffering has a purpose!”
Every action, every word, every thought and every will of the spiritplaces causes into the world. Since they remain connected with us, the resulting effects will also return to us. These are the resulting events in life, which we call fate. “Reaping what we sow” can also be described as the responsibility of all actions, which should be taken seriously. It manifests as a cycle, starting from the initiator and returning to them through responsibility.
Fate could also be called the reaping of our sowing, which is brought to us by the laws of nature. Be it through the attraction of the same kind, or the principle of cause and effect.
Fate naturally brings us joy and happiness as a harvest. Therefore, we can learn from our fate, which seed yields which fruit.
By harvesting, fate also enables us to resolve past wrongdoings.
However, in addition to insight, this ultimately requires the corresponding change in our actions.
Back to the example. The child is now growing up and starting their own life. Popular wisdom also has a very apt expression for this.
The young person…
…takes fate into their own hands.
Growing up, they slowly become responsible for their own intentions, thoughts and actions. Through this thinking and acting, they plant a seed that matures and later turns into a harvest.
Between the intention, thoughts, words and deeds and the resulting repercussions, however, long periods of time pass, which can also extend from one life to the next.
This was also the case in our example. In the previous life, the man harmed his fellow men greatly by his domineering nature. However, the responsibility, i.e. the repercussion, only reaches him in his present life. He will maybe find himself in circumstances in which he has to suffer as a victim under the domineering tendency of a superior.
If we were to look only at his current life on earth, we would not be able to find a cause for the severe impending fate.
Fate, i.e. the connection between cause and effect, can, as mentioned at the beginning, only be recognized with an expanded view and cannot be limited to one earthly life.
Now let´s talk about a very important aspect of fate, namely the question: How severely will the backlash from a past life affect a person? In the case of an accident, for example, the range can be very wide. If someone falls from a ladder, they may suffer a bruise, break their leg, or become paraplegic. The severity of the impact depends on two factors, among others:
- The severity of the previous action. We may harm someone unintentionally, or on purpose. We may do good for someone selflessly, or with ulterior motives. It depends on the inner attitude of the person how severe the repercussions will be.
- The ethereal environment of the human being. This can be compared with the so-called aura and is shaped by the mental state of a person. If we look at the person from our example in the past life, he was determined completely by his dominance at that time. The resulting ethereal dark environment is responsible for the severity of the approaching backlash that will now strike them. If the environment of the person in the present life is still poor, it is understandable that the backlash will hit them full force in this life. A dark, ethereally heavy environment cannot mitigate similar backlashes.
However, if the person has already gained insight into their wrongdoing at the end of their life at that time, their ethereal environment has become much lighter and brighter as a result. Through this purer layer, the dark repercussions are weakened. If a person has completely come to understand himself in this life through the partially domineering mother and has turned away from dominant behavior himself, the backlash may affect him only to a small extent.
A light, pure ethereal environment of a person can act like the protective atmosphere of the Earth, keeping out or at least reducing dangerous radiation from outer space.
Everything that comes to us as fate in life was caused by ourselves in the past. The intensity in which it hits us is adjusted down to the most subtle detail, because it depends on our momentary ethereal environment. These two factors are a guarantee for the constant appropriateness of fate and signify a great help to us.
Using the person in our example, however, I would like to illustrate another aspect of fate. Assume that the person does not have to expect any more serious repercussions. Nevertheless, they wants to cheat on someone in her circle of acquaintances. However, they are warned or they suddenly have second thoughts or feel bad. As a result, it is possible to avoid the impending suffering if …. they are vigilant enough to listen to the inner warnings.
Fate, or rather the effects of the laws of nature, cannot prevent a cheater from trying to cheat others. However, potential victims can be urged to be careful by inner warnings.
The arbitrariness of a perpetrator does not always have to do with the actual fate of a human being. Only what the laws of nature bring to a person, which they have given cause to themselves, can be called actual fate. It is formed from regularities, by the consideration of which we can “take fate into our own hands”.
To become permanently happy we should:
- Sow only noble things in the future through our actions, words, thoughts and will, through which we will reap noble things.
- Realize past wrongdoingsand change, making our ethereal environment purer and able to mitigate dark repercussions.
- Learning from our social environment into which we were born and trying to recognize what stimuli for development it provides us.
- Be inwardly vigilant to recognize warnings of fate, the observance of which can protect us.
All these possibilities are offered to us by fate,
and thereby shapes the curriculum of our lives.

“And whatever your conditions are in this life, whether rich or poor, healthy or ill, at peace or in conflict, in joy or sorrow, so you will learn to recognise the reason and purpose of it all! This will make you glad and happy, grateful for the experiences which have come your way. You will learn to value every single second as precious and, above all, learn to use them for your ascent to joyful existence and purest happiness.”
